LIFE FIT
The sun has set, only accent lights
Illuminate the stone temple.
This morning I was waiting
For the bus to start its engine
While the energy, of another world
In the Park, amazed me with dancing
Shadows midst leaves and jaded beams
Broken with breeze, in transparency
Wistful hints hushed voices in crescendo
Into arpeggios of green while
Luminous yellow chords sustained
The tonal colors of the phrase.
I reflected upon my sixty two years
The many lives that I have tried on
Realizing that no life pattern is an end
Nor more than movement of whimsical light.
All my lives are merely part of a process
The divine molding of character: to a kindlier
More patient; more Loving and humble end.
