MILIEU

Season rains leave luminous milieu
verdurous lush greens, shafts of light
letting us see performance
of Nature’s machine, embedded within
immense seas of turquoise sky
then rosy gray haze pastel
crescent moon veiled, before
retiring lines, dying reds
blacken into obscurer night.
