MOMENT XV

Overcast bright shade of
broken commitments of cloud
lengthen the wait, heavy pressure
weighed in barometric gauge
age this dear moment, without
a sigh of breeze, still trees
lay at likely promises held
through this day, to vanish
as eclectic bells chime the passing
of one who once sat here.
