O.XIII
Loneliness possesses me
a longing, necessity of nurturing
I remember, long ago, when I
went out alone, to sit near
rushing water’s violent runoff
of Spring, days and nights
of snowing, swiftly passed
vertical horizontal falls, walls
transparent wet, course of
furious flow, death in velocity
and weight, to hear my destiny
in turbulence of Nature’s vehemence.
