Poured into shapes, genetic molds
or blown glass into colored bottles
designs of exotic flavors, intoxications
so many different forms, ambiguity
of mimesis, external appearance
reflecting inside activity, chaotic
time-dependence, a body then
but pure shell, our final figure
emerges, intrinsic and immanent
intermittency, informing principles work
lineaments of tension, ironic patterns
age deteriorates structure, yet
the spirit may become more beautiful
separation of permanent content
from decay, internal totality or integral
wholeness, as it corresponds
or contradicts outside wear and decline
until our process, in line, is complete.
