The mind tries to adumbrate
its beguiling bent, multiple
faint shadows move within
the brain, like teasing leaves
wind shaken, along lizard runs
tempterís tambourines
charms of melodious deceit
waves of perverse pulse, jingle
in the head, ambient undulation
artful rings of guile resound
agitate and fetter our fragile vision.
